BRIDGE FUN RUN - MAY 2007

Sunday 6 May 2007.

This year we had 170 participants which was fewer than last year but are still able to make a donation of $1000 towards finishing a photo project in the foyer of the new school gym. The display is of Past Pupils who have represented NZ in sport over the past 81 years and looks great. The foyer also has the Sports Honours Boards displayed.

We run the event on a shoe string budget and are greatly indebted to the all businesses that donate goods for our 80 spot prizes. We also thank the Marathon Clinic and HV Harriers who lend us equipment, Fine Signs for the large advertising board and all the HVHS parents and students who were the marshals on the day. The low entry fee encourages students and families to participate so without all this generous assistance we would have a very small profit to pass on to the school.
