I don't remember being at a reunion with a Bob McIvor - but I do recall arriving home from Sydney city recently with a CD of 'Bless the Bride' (1959), photos of some pimply faced 16 year olds, a couple of vegies out of someones garden and a some chutny made by someone with the unlikely name of Mr T. I don't know where I'd been and I didn't know alzheimers began at 62.(Only kidding - ut was a great day!) Merry Christmas

Today being Tuesday 21st December, seven former members of HVHS c. 1955 to 1960 met and had a delightful luncheon at the Rugby Club in Sydney. Those in attendance were, Michael Turner, Tony Williams, Murray Mills, Bob McIvor, Wayne Healey, Terry Cresswell, and Rick Barnes flew in from Wellington, just for the lunch.
Some students who were at HVHS will remember that 4 of the afore mentioned person were in the school dance band in 1959 see page 41.
We all ate well and reminisced about the old days including, talking about "Bless the Bride" production, of which Murray Mills was the lead boy.
A good day was had by all.
We look forward to doing this on a regular annual basis, even with the thought of maybe travelling to Wellington for the event.
If there are any other ex HVHS students living in Sydney, or elswhere in OZ please feel free to contact me at mr.t@ggn.com.au
Merry xmas to all
